Processing of orders and payments
Once you have sent us your order you will receive a confirmation Email confirming that we have received it. We will endeavour to dispatch your items within 24 hours or on the same day if orders are placed by 12pm.
Shipping, delivery and collection
We currently now only use Royal Mail and Parcelforce as we have found them to be the most reliable. From time to time and depending on the parcel or address we may have to use My Hermes for our standard service. For guaranteed quality customer service, we choose reputable couriers to ship our parcels. Our charges to the customer are below cost price and is not used as a means for profit. The cost is determined by weight and size of the parcel, which can sometimes change*, but we aim to attain the cheapest price for trackable items. Please see the table below that indicates how the pricing works.

Parcels are usually delivered within 2 -5 working days after you receive your Email confirming that your parcel is on its way. Your parcel may have a tracking number that will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been completed by us and ready for dispatch. Parcels dispatched via Royal Mail are tracked internally but a tracking number will not be provided as we do only use the standard service.If you would prefer a tracked service then please advise us and we will use My Hermes. We do receive confirmation of delivery for all parcels and we also regularly check this to ensure that there are no issues with any orders placed with us.
In some instances a signature may be required on delivery of your products. If no-one is available to sign for your products your courier should leave instructions on when they will re-attempt to deliver or where the parcel can be collected from. My Hermes and parcelforce will e-mail you with a day and an approximate time frame for delivery. If you are unable to make this time you can contact them directly to arrange something that may be more suitable to you.
Should you have any special instructions for the courier then you can add these to the notes at checkout so that we can inform the courier when booking your delivery.
In the event that your parcel is not delivered and becomes lost, Auntie Ammie’s will assist in tracking and reclaiming it, replace it or issue a full refund depending on the circumstances.
International shipping may incur additional taxes, import or duty charges that we are not accountable for. Please check with the country’s customs office before completing an order.We use parcel forces nominated couriers for the majority of our international shipments which aims to deliver within 4 working days from completion of your order. An email will be sent to you confirming delivery from the courier. In some instances this has been known to filter into junk mail accounts so please do check if you have not received a confirmation of delivery.
If a parcel is undeliverable, the customer will receive a refund for the products only and incur the packaging and postage charges.
*Although we are able to dispatch worldwide, postage to certain parts of the UK (for example some parts of Scotland, the Channel Islands), and International addresses can be variable. Please seek our advice if you suspect your parcel’s destination to be problematic before placing an order.
Product orders over the value of £60 to uk mainland destinations are delivered for free. This has now been extended to both Northern Ireland and the republic of Ireland also. There is however a shipping weight limit of 30kg to the total order due to handling and courier restrictions. Changes to delivery procedure in relation to signing for and receiving items in the UK
In order to protect both Delivery personnel and customers, as much as possible, couriers will not be handing over their hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Couriers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item, then put ‘XP1’ in the signature field, and will record the geolocation of the delivery. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
